Biography Dr. Diego Ledda is a distinguished optometrist and educator, originally from Lille, France. With a passion for advancing the field of optometry, he has built an impressive career as both a practitioner and an internationally recognized lecturer.
Fluent in English, French, Italian, and Spanish, Dr. Ledda's multilingual abilities have enabled him to connect with diverse patient populations and collaborate globally in both academic and clinical settings. After completing his Master's degree at one of Paris’ leading universities, Dr.
Ledda embarked on a successful academic journey. He began teaching at the renowned Institut Supérieur d'Optique in France, where he contributed to shaping the next generation o f optometrists. He also served as a clinical professor for the European Diploma in Optics and Optometry, further solidifying his reputation as an expert in his field.
Dr. Ledda’s pursuit of excellence led him to Boston, where he earned his Doctorate in Optometry. His rigorous training included hands -on experience in a variety of settings, including the prestigious Veteran Administration hospital system and several commu nity health clinics throughout Massachusetts.
These experiences deepened his expertise in medical optometry, patient care and instilled in him a commitment to improving the health and vision of diverse populations. Today, Dr. Ledda practices optometry in the Miami area, where he focuses on medical retina, a specialized branch of optometry that addresses a range of conditions affecting the retina.
