Dr. Giannie Castellanos

Optometrist are found practically in every corner, however Dr. Giannie Castellanos is a rare find. Her passion for serving the elderly and pediatrics is seen as she charismatically evaluates and treats the patient. She thrives with patients who have challenging refractive disorders, medical conditions, or special needs. Treating patients for myopic control, helping prevent increase of myopia, in her specialty. She believes every child should have an eye exam to ensure that their vision is optimal for their academic success and quality of life. Her favorite eye exams her 2-4 years old and does also treat adults. Her sweetest not only shows in her store branding but throughout the eye evaluation experience making children happy to be there.

Dr. Giannie Castellanos has graduated a couple of times. She attended Monsignor Pace High School where she excelled in mathematics. Later, attending and graduated FIU where she founded the Pre-Optometry club and Researched age related macular degeneration.  Lastly, she attended four more years at Nova Southeastern graduating with a doctorate in optometry.  We welcome any alumni with a sweet treat and 10% additional off frames.

Dr. Castellanos, is still very involved as she is a guest speaker for Nova current optometry students and assist in varies optometric clubs. Her fluency is Spanish originated from being born in Hialeah and raised by her Cuban parents. She is currently a Miami Laker who is very involved in the community. 

Dr. Laura Rozada

Dr. Laura Rozada has been practicing Optometry for five years where she has gained a faithful following of patients due to her warm and exceptional style of patient care.
She grew up in Miami and attended Florida International University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. For her graduate studies, she ventured down to the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas. While at school she performed internships and rotations at various sites such as Texas Community Health Center and Bob Michel VA Outpatient Clinic in Peoria, Illinois. While on rotations, she was honored with the opportunity to perform eye health and vision services on patients from different areas across the world.
Dr. Rozada has an undeniable passion for pediatric patient care. She loves how energetic they are and is a firm believer that a thorough pediatric eye exam will ensure a better visual quality of life in their future. With an unquestionable amount of patience, she enjoys taking her time during the exam to address the patient’s visual needs. She specializes in dry eye management, stye treatment, and myopia control.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends such as going to the beach, dancing, and enjoying delicious foods. She loves to read fictional books and maintains an active lifestyle.

Dr. Janet Castrillo

Dr. Janet Castrillo is an exceptional Optometric Physician who specializes in custom contact lenses, including ortho Keratology, scleral lenses and custom contacts.

Dr. Castrillo earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She also earned a Masters degree in Biomedical science from Barry University.

Her training was involved in various settings such as the Eye institute in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia VA, primary and ocular disease practice in North Miami and specialty contact lens practice in Miami.

This exposure has allowed her to solidify her knowledge in different modalities.

On her days off, Dr. Castrillo likes travel and explore different cities.
